Sunita’s India
A pickle from every posting.
Sunita spent a lifetime moving with the Army — posting to posting, kitchen to kitchen, neighbour to neighbour. She cooked her way into every place, and every place cooked its way into her notebook: recipes from neighbours, from messes, from markets — asked about, watched closely, written down and kept.
Sunita’s India is that notebook, made properly. Each jar is made true to its place and openly sourced — and a borrowed recipe is honoured, never disguised. Nothing in this line pretends to be from our farm; that is exactly the point of it.

How the line works
Three rules, every jar.
True to place
Every recipe is made to its region’s own method — the way the dish is actually made at home there, not a northern shortcut with a southern name. If a place taught us the dish, the place sets the rules.
Openly sourced
Ingredients in this line are bought in, and we print where from, batch by batch. Until an origin is confirmed to our satisfaction, the label says [ORIGINS TBC] rather than borrowing a romantic place name.
Honoured, not disguised
The recipe’s home is named on the jar, in so many words. Sunita collected these dishes; she did not invent them — and pretending otherwise would be the opposite of this brand.
